Autumn-Winter
2010 could best be described as a "celebration of boots"!
There's
a sense of power and strength associated with this leg/foot wear
and the styling and variety serve to endorse this trend.
Whether
it be the cheeky chic of a peep toe ankle bootie, the dominance
of a thigh-high hugging thriller or the sheer elegance of a knee-high/over-the-knee
classic, the statement is there for all to admire and behold!
Options
are not only limited to boots though, as this season sees a multitude
of pumps in lush suedes and leathers. Ranging in height from low
heels and demi-wedges to moderate platforms that can be worn by
all, there's still a choice to wear those 'killer heels' if you're
so inclined.
After
the multitude of strapping over the foot from this summer past
I prefer the look of clean, simple lines and letting the quality
of material do the talking. That can be translated into flat,
comfort driven loafers or high heeled stunners and if it's embellishment
you seek, then turn to soft, understated bows or studded applications
but remember to keep them in moderation.
The
materials of leather and suede for this winter exude richness
and warmth. Black is still the dominant colour this winter but
dont look past fabulous new hues of earthy tobacco, caramel, moss,
taupe or lavender.
